Irish football is filled with successful dynasties, from the Whelans to the Hendersons, and we may one day add the Keane name to that list in years to come.

In an appearance on Soccer AM over the weekend, not only did Robbie Keane take part in a goalscoring challenge but his son, eight-year-old Robert, also took the opportunity to show of his finishing skills.

Young Keane showed the sharpshooting instincts his father displayed for years in the green of Ireland (and his cousin Jason Byrne in shirts of various League of Ireland hues) with a sweetly-struck volley with the outside of his boot.

Perhaps the most solid indication the youngster has a future in the game was the ease with which he burst out the flossing celebration beloved of many of today's Premier League stars.
