St. Patrick’s Athletic will have to plan without Thomas Byrne for their away trip to the RSC to face Waterford on Friday.
The underage International was red carded late in injury time as the Saints lost 3-1 to Bray Wanderers. Byrne had pulled a goal back for Pats only for Dan Kelly to restore their two goal lead two minutes into injury time.
Darren Meenan will sit out Longford Town’s Monday afternoon visit to Finn Harps after seeing red after a foul on Galway United’s Conor Barry last week.
Waterford’s Stanley Aborah has two matches left to sit out from his additional suspension handed down from his red card. James Brown, Conor McCormack and Chris Shields will miss out playing for Shelbourne, Cork City and Dundalk respectively having reached five yellow cards so far this season.
The aforementioned Thomas Byrne has also reached five yellows and will serve a one match ban also.
